From One of the Garden’s Planners

There is now a new garden inside the grounds of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. This area has become a beautiful garden from an empty lot. The garden now acts as an evangelist in a certain way. This garden helps bring other people of the local community into church. Because of this, they can learn more about God. The garden has brought people in the community together. It has also served to have parents teach their children how to plant food and flowers. I have seen with my own eyes that it brings people from the church to connect with people from the community. I have talked with people in that garden that I never would have talked to on the streets. This garden has brought many people into the church. There are plants at this very moment that are growing in the garden. The Yamazaki Memorial Community Garden has become more beautiful than I ever imagined.
