  1. Today – George Omatsu Golf Tournament.
  2. Sunday, August 21 -9:00am, Anson Stewart Presentation – Anson will share photos and stories of his investigations and adventures on his year long project focused on public transportation in Belize, Nicaragua, Panama, Tanzania, South    Africa, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil.
  3. Sunday, August 21–11:15am – Vestry Meeting. Bilingual 9:45am service.
  4. Our new interns are arriving August 24! There are a number of ways you can help to welcome them.  If you’d be willing to bring some food next Sunday to stock their pantry and refrigerator, please sign up for a few items on our suggested grocery list.  If you’re available during the week, and would like to join Mother Anna in being on hand to welcome the new group as they move in, please let her know.    Sunday, August 28 will be our first Sunday with the new interns.  If you have ideas or you’d like to help make that a special day, please speak to Mother Anna or Father Butch.
  5. Episcopal Dodger Night, Friday, August 26 at 7:00pm.  Dodgers vs. the Colorado Rockies.
  6. We have received a pastoral letter from Bishop Bruno, urging us to understand the importance of strong interfaith respect and relationship as we approach the 10th anniversary of 9-11.  If you would like a copy, it is available at the back of the church.
